(From my son to me- shared with me)
“Who sat and watched my big fat head
And managed all my stubbornness
While tolerating my doggedness
My mother
The one who sharpened my roughness
While building up my toughness
The woman who always rocked me to bed
My mother
For each time I woke before morning,
she was there to gently stroke my head
Each time I misbehaved, she spanked my head
Giving me so much joy that I have much to spare
My Mother
You unlocked my powers and prowess
And helped me to find strength
You have always remained to all your children, a divine flair.
My mother
This I do as a public display of compliment
To my mum, a pure delight and eminence”
May God find all of us faithful mothers fulfilling our role.
I wish every mother ‘Happy Mothers’ Day’.
